A Season of Unrivaled Musical Excellence Awaits You
A Stellar Lineup of Iconic Artists
The upcoming season promises an array of unforgettable performances. Among the highlights are appearances by the legendary 1960s pop band Herman’s Hermits, fronted by Peter Noone. The incomparable Sheila E., celebrated with a Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, will grace the stage with her electrifying E-Train ensemble. Additionally, the soulful Rickie Lee Jones, a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, will mesmerize audiences with her unique blend of jazz and folk influences.Grammy-winning guitarist Tommy Emmanuel makes a triumphant return after nearly 15 years, bringing his masterful fingerstyle guitar playing back to MIM. This concert series also welcomes several debut acts that promise to leave lasting impressions. Billy F. Gibbons, the blues-rock pioneer from ZZ Top, brings his signature sound to the theater. Endea Owens, a Grammy-winning jazz bassist, will perform with her dynamic group, the Cookout. Irish folk tradition comes alive with Dervish, while Ghost-Note, featuring members of Snarky Puppy, offers a modern twist on funk fusion.
Returning Favorites Enrich the Season
Audiences can look forward to beloved artists returning to the MIM Music Theater. Internationally acclaimed violin virtuoso Rachel Barton Pine returns to enchant listeners with her virtuosic performances. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, recipients of the National Medal of Arts, will once again captivate with their authentic New Orleans jazz. Vanessa Collier, an award-winning saxophonist and vocalist, brings her soulful sounds back to the stage. Gospel quintet the Blind Boys of Alabama, Grammy winners, return with their uplifting music. Bluegrass enthusiasts will be delighted by the Del McCoury Band’s return, and Golden Globe nominee Lucie Arnaz rounds out the lineup with her timeless performances.
